Photoshop
Elements for Photographers
This course has been approved by the GA Department of Education for PLU Credit
Explore Photoshop Elements from a photographer’s
perspective. Learn the interface and tools of this powerful application and
apply them to your own images. We will cover all the basic steps from input
through photo editing to output. Advanced students will explore advanced
techniques while working on individual and group projects. A $45 Lab Fee is payable to the instructor at
the first class. Ages 14 & up, age on date of class. Held at

Layers
This class covers all versions of Photoshop and Photoshop
Elements. Learn everything you need to know about one of the most powerful
features in Photoshop. Hands on computer training using the tools that using
layers provides. Handouts, tips and tricks you will want to use for all your
images. Projects like scrapbooking, multi image montages,
working with blend modes and enhancing images using the special features of
layers. A $45 Lab Fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

Composition
& Design for Photographers
Taking a good picture requires more than simply aiming a
camera or pushing a button: it takes awareness, planning and skill. At first,
the process may seem slow, but as the principles of good design become more familiar, shooting becomes easier, more fun and more
satisfying. This eight session course for photographers provides the tools to
help produce images more precisely and more dramatically. Classes combine
slide-illustrated presentations that identify strong design concepts, critiques
of students’ work and group discussion. Emphasis is given to design concepts,
printing and image size. This class is not intended for the novice; students
are recommended to possess basic photographic technical knowledge and be
knowledgeable with their cameras. A $5 Lab Fee is payable to the instructor at

Photografiends
Young photography fiends can create a personal journal by
designing their own book with their very own photos, which will be taken with
provided disposable cameras. Students will also explore the fun & easy
techniques of photo transferring, hand coloring and more. There is a $20 cash
lab fee due to the instructor at the first class. Ages 8-12,

Creative
Color Chaos
In the world of art, color rules! Join the creative journey
as we experiment with color in a variety of media. Techniques in painting and
drawing will spark your imagination. There is a $15 cash lab fee due to the
