Saturday, October 27th, 2007 - RPS Fall Seminar
Bill Fortney
Register now for the upcoming Fall Seminar featuring Bill Fortney. If you were at our June meeting, you know what a great speaker Bill is. We are fortunate to have him for a whole day with an entirely different program---one he's refined over more than fifteen years of teaching photography. Bill founded the popular Great American Photography Workshops, where he still teaches. Check out their website at http://gaphotoworks.com/site/faculty/bill-fortney.html#more-17
His presentation will include the following: The Creative Controls. Exposure--Exposed. White Balance. Light. Composition. Raw v. JPEG. Workflow. It's in the Bag (Equipment). The Four Keys to a Great Image. The last session is worth the class all by itself.
This year, not only has the price been reduced, but a boxed lunch is now included! It's an amazing bargain for a fun and informative day with a magnificent and popular photographer and teacher. This exceptionally low registration fee has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of Nikon. The program goes from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Like last year, it will be at the newly named Building A - Bill Johnson Community Activities Building. This is the building you pass on your left just before you get to the Roswell Visual Arts Center (RVAC), where we host our usual meetings. Oh, that price? Only $69 per person! And for students with a current valid student ID, it is only $35---including lunch! See the registration form for details. Please print and complete the form, and bring it to any meeting, along with your check for $69 per person ($35 for students), or mail it to the address on the form. This should be an educational and fun experience.
