The Roswell Photography Society
Classic Car Charity Event
ROSWELL, Ga., (August 20, 2005) Members of the Roswell Photographic Society were invited to shoot a charity event sponsored by the Gold City Classic Car Club, held on Saturday, August 20th at the Kroger parking lot of the Dawson Village Shopping Center. The welcomed photographers quickly set up to shoot in the 95+ degree heat. The Charity event was hosted by Duane and Lynn Hattaway to raise money for the Wayne Gibson Fund. The photographers had fun in spite of the extreme heat and harsh lighting conditions. Be on the look-out for some of their great shots!

Tom Wilson
"Watch for the Bus!"
Member Tom Wilson continues to promote the beautiful wildlife and scenery around the Chattahoochee River area with his beautiful photography. The National Park Service has chosen his images to promote their "Healthy Parks" campaign on MARTA buses in Atlanta.
UPDATE From Tom Wilson (8/22/2005): I got to see my MARTA Bus the other day. They used a total of 5 of my photographs, including one of 8 members of the Atlanta Rowing Club who were so kind as to give me model releases so that the image of them could be used on the back of the Bus. I haven't seen it driving around yet but I've heard from a few folks who have. I have to tell you that the National Park folks have just treated me wonderfully and if any of you ever work with them you will be delighted.
