Canon National Park Photo Contest Winner

Congratulations to Tom Query for winning Second Place in Landscape in the Canon National Park Photo contest. The exhibit will be open May 5 through June 30 at Winans Chocolates and Coffees, 227 Sandy Springs Place at City Walk (in the Sandy Springs' Kroger Shopping Center... just west of Roswell Road and Hammond Drive).

1st place in Nikon Essay Photo Contest

Tom Wilson has won 1st place in the recent Nikon Photo Essay contest. The prize was a Nikon Coolpix L1 Camera.

Charles Needle

2006 Winner, North American Nature Photography Association Members Showcase Contest

Congratulations to RPS member Charles Needle, who was one of 10 winners in the 2006 North American Nature Photography Association Members' Showcase Photo Contest for his photo "Starcrossed Lovers". The award included a cash prize, which Charles accepted in person in February at the 2006 NANPA Summit held in Denver, Colorado. The winning image was selected from among the 2,000+ entries received from more than 300 NANPA members from around the country. This photo, taken along the beach in Hilton Head Island, SC, also appeared on a full page in NANPA's first annual Members' Showcase Journal, "Impressions", which was mailed to leading photo buyers and editors nationwide.
