Newly formed photography club, Georgia Nature Photographers' Association (GNPA), is having a big Annual Meeting at Callaway Gardens this coming January 29-31, 2010. This meeting is open to both members and non-members. GNPA will be having two big name professional photographers speaking at the meeting and there will be opportunities for print competition, portfolio review, workshops, door prizes and much more. It's going to be a lot of fun and GNPA hopes that some RPS members can make it.

Help Portrait Atlanta 2009 by Lou Raimondi
Help Portrait 2nd Saturday in December
at the Roswell Visual Arts Center

BEFORE: At the Nov. 16th meeting, additional volunteers were needed for the "Help Portrait" event on Saturday, December 12th, 2009 at the Roswell Visual Arts Center.

AFTER: We had a great fun day yesterday making Family Portraits. We had 42 volunteers, some photographers, members of the community that read it in the paper, students, hairdressers and makeup artists, lots of food and drink and a pie for each family to take home.

This is a photo from Lou and Debra. Check out this link and pass it along to the Help-Portrait volunteers. Those who belong to this Flickr group can post photos from Saturday, December 12th's events: www.Flickr.com/groups/help-portrait-atlanta.
